The annual Bnoth Zion Association WIZO Yomtov Market was a resounding success, all contributing to BZA’s important work.
The market was held at the Sea Point High School Hall on Sunday 2 September. Many groups baked delicious delicacies, which were snapped up by all the crowds, and there was an exciting range of stalls such as crafts, jewellery and delicious goodies. Buyers were enticed by fresh strawberries, wonderful coffee, bulkas, salmon bagels and boerewors rolls.
For months, the Tomer Branch had been baking their delicious famous bagel biscuits, which were out sold even before the market began and were an excellent fundraiser! Kol ha’kavod to this enthusiastic group of hard- working ladies. The children loved the entertainment, especially the petting zoo and jumping castle. The Collectables Store again attracted much interest with their varied and unusual items. The dedication and enthusiasm of the branches and executive helped to make the market so successful. The funds raised will help make the lives of our beneficiaries in Israel so much brighter!
