Delicious dishes from Sababa in Sea Point

Pesach is upon us, and whilst we love to celebrate this special holiday with all of our favourite traditional dishes, below are some not-so-usual dishes to enjoy over the holiday. Thanks to Tal Smith of Sababa in Sea Point, who invited the CJC to join her in making these delicious, seasonal, no fuss dishes to enjoy over Pesach, with your Seder meals or in the days following.

Root vegetables and fresh herbs make these dishes comforting whilst bright beets and aubergines ensure that they please visually. Toss them up and serve on platters to let the ingredients speak for themselves or create a gorgeous vegetable bake that is sure to fill your home with the most marvellous smells. We wish you a beautifully kosher Pesach. Remember, if you do not eat kitniyot, you should wait until after Pesach to enjoy the Aubergine, Tahina and Greenbean Salad.
