One to One — an extraordinary, awe-inspiring experience

Board of Deputies staff and volunteers at their popular stand at One to One

For the tenth year running, the Cape South African Jewish Board of Deputies participated in Bnei Brith’s One to One event on Sunday, 20 August at Green Point Stadium.

One to One is a unique communal initiative in which various organisations and individuals are given the opportunity to interact with some 3000 mentally and physically challenged people from in and around Cape Town for a day of fun activities. Organisations across the spectrum participate and set up fun interactive stalls bringing joy and laughter into the lives of the visitors.
As usual, our festively decorated stall and jumping castle were an outright hit! The Cape Board is ever appreciative and grateful to our generous donors as well as all the volunteers from Kazak whose assistance is invaluable. Our appreciation too, to the indefatigable convenor and community member, Albert Glass – Kol HaKovod, Albert!

One to One is a deeply humbling and uplifting day and we are proud to be associated with this event.
