Torah High 2017 SAT Results

CTTH would like to extend huge congratulations to all students, teachers, and staff on incredible achievements in their SAT results.

Students collectively achieved an average of 1342 out of 1600 (84%) compared to the global average of 1060 (66%). Two learners, Bentziyon Opert and Aharon Altman, scored as high as the second and third percentiles globally.

The SAT is one of the most widely used college admissions test, and has held this distinction for the past seven decades. Most colleges and universities around the world accept the SAT as an entrance test and it is taken by over 2 million US students, as well as hundreds of thousands worldwide, every year.

The SAT is included as part of the CTTH matric process, along with the University of Nebraska High School (UNHS) Diploma/Senior Certificate. Once completed, these two reports are converted by the Matriculation Board into a Matric with Exemption or Bachelor’s Pass.

CTTH also offers SAT training and testing to non-CTTH students, and any learner in Grade 11 or 12 can sign up for either training and guidance, testing, or both. Students take the SAT normally because they plan to complete their tertiary studies abroad, especially in the US or Israel, or alternatively would like to add the SAT Score Report to their portfolio of scores. The PSAT and SAT also can open doors to scholarships, and college recruitment. The next PSAT will be in November and prep starts in September, while the next SAT will be in December and prep will be starting in October.

CTTH has its own testing center, and is the only one in the city that offers Sunday sittings, for Jewish students. All tests are hosted by the Herzlia High School, and CTTH is grateful to UHS for their partnership and vision.
