CJSA is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2015 — a milestone of which we are exceedingly proud. At inception there was no other organisation catering for the needs of the seniors in the community and we are honoured to be the only organisation in the South African Jewish community providing the services that we do.
As a foretaste to our 30th Anniversary we hosted two special Shabbat Dinners for our members and specially invited guests. The first one, hosted in Sea Point at Marais Road Shul, was hosted by Bennie Rabinowitz. The hall looked magnificent and those involved pulled out all the stops to ensure that it was a Shabbat to remember. Claremont/ Wynberg Shul hosted the second Shabbat Dinner which was co-sponsored by Investec and Shira Chadasha. It is truly a heart-warming experience to see the joy and pleasure that is derived by the members attending these evenings.
CJSA will be hosting many special functions throughout the year and we hope that members and the general community will join in to acknowledge this milestone and celebrate with us.
