Highlands House Golf Day

They laughed and cried …

and everyone was a winner at Highlands House Golf Day!

Gary Palmer, Jonathan Zolty, Evan Musikanth and Bernard Osrin.

Highlands House held a most successful Golf Day at King David Golf Club on 28 January, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all — players and organisers.

The home thanks the many sponsors who gave most generously, and to all those who played, a big thank you.

The day was organised by Larry Sive, with the support of his wife Denise and the Highlands House Fundraising Committee.

At the end of the day, after 36 holes on the golf course, a delicious meal was served by Merle Rubin and all were entertained by ‘funny man’ Nik Rabinowitz, who put on a brilliant performance and had everyone in stitches — laughing till they cried! Thanks Nik.

Indeed, many of the players laughed all the way to the prize table, while envious non-winners cried into their beers at lost chances, duffed drives and missed putts!

It is with your support and that of the community that Highlands House is able to maintain and improve its existing facilities and enhance the services that we offer. The care of our residents being of paramount importance.

We are constantly upgrading and refurbishing the Home as we believe it is important for the residents to be able to live and be cared for in beautiful surroundings.

Your much needed support is greatly appreciated and on behalf of our Committee, Residents and Staff, our sincere thanks to you all .
