Netzer Fun Day
Netzer Fun Day

At the end of June Netzer Cape Town ran a Fun Day for the Cheder pupils from Wynberg Temple Israel and Green Point Temple Israel, along with all the other enthusiastic Netzernicks who came along for the fun.

The event definitely lived up to its name. We are so proud of Keshet, our oldest age group who are madrichim during the year, for running this event like naturals.

The children were split up into groups and were given the opportunity to play exciting sport games, such as Chinese Soccer and hand tennis. Another station let the children show their creativity through beading and making beautiful friendship bracelets and necklaces. And of course there was a station dedicated to the popular Netzer games and if you have not yet played a classic Netzer game, you are missing out. They are intense, hilarious and loads of fun.

The Fun Day was such a great success that we will definitely be running a similar sort of event again sometime this year before big camp. So, if you could not make the first one, do not worry, because you will have another chance to come and experience the fun.

Unfortunately, our sleepover which was planned for July had to be postponed, so make sure to check what the new details are once they are confirmed.

With every article, and therefore every month passing, I get reminded how close we are getting to big camp in December, and I hope that you are as excited as I am for summer camp. Soon we will all start counting down the days till we arrive at camp and that incredible adventure begins all over again.
