Dean Roux is the founder of Yum Yalla — a company with a great product, but less-great timing.
A year in the planning, his wood-fired kosher pizza food truck was finally ready to start catering to Jewish simchas and events. A delicious quality product, a fully kitted-out truck and Beth Din approval were all in place — a week before lockdown was implemented.
Quick thinking was needed and the business was adapted. Yum Yalla delivers frozen, 36-hour fermented, made with Italian flour, Chalav Yisrael, wood-fired pizzas direct to your door; and looks forward to catering your simchas in the future, when gatherings are once again possible.
