Cape Town stands with Israel

It is through hard times that we know how strong our community is, and nothing proved this statement more than the presence and outpouring of support that we witnessed on a recent Sunday afternoon. More than 2,000 members of the Jewish community and SA Friends of Israel came together to pray for the safe return of hostages and all the innocent civilians murdered by the terrorist organization, Hamas.

The SAZF – Cape Council & Cape SAJBD would like to thank each and every one who attended the rally in solidarity with Israel.  Nothing shows support more than your physical presence. The generosity of the Cape Town community and their connection to Israel was overwhelming. Many thanks to those who gave so generously.

If you were unable to attend the rally, there will still be a number of ways to show your support. We continue to raise money for The Jewish Agency’s Victim of Terror Fund. You can donate here.

We will also be sending out correspondence on updates, webinars and petitions in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on your email inbox and, if you know of community members not receiving our emails who would like to subscribe, please send them this link.

Together we will support our community and Israel.

Am Yisrael Chai
