Our Jewish Community Mifgash (JCM) experience

Our Fellows working on their Leadership Vision Board

By Eytan Labe

In a year filled with unexpected challenges, the Diller programme continues to shine as a beacon of hope for our leaders. Despite the disruptions caused by the war, our commitment to fostering leadership, Tikkun Olam, and community remains unwavering.

The recent workshops have ranged from immersive sessions on leadership to meaningful discussions about repairing the world, and our teens have embraced every opportunity for growth. While JCM worked differently than most years, we had the pleasure of hosting the Johannesburg cohort, making the most of a challenging time. The teens were involved in fun, bonding, and meaningful experiences. Volunteering, workshops about deepening our connections, and celebrating Purim together were just some of the highlights of the programme.

Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate our Leadership Shabbaton where we put everything we’ve learned into action.
