Every year on the weekend of the Pride March, Temple Israel celebrates the diversity of our Jewish community with Pride Shabbat, dedicated to including and welcoming all of the LGBTQIA+ community to our shul.
With a packed synagogue, music, singing and a heaving brochah (including rainbow kitkes!), we were Proud to add Pride Shabbat 2025 to our long list of celebrations. Our guest speaker used the Exodus from Egypt as a metaphor for coming out and becoming who we all need to be.
