Temple Israel is excited to host Rabbi Kinneret Shiryon as our Rabbi in Residence for September and October, including the High Holy Days.
She comes to us from Modi’in, near Jerusalem, where she was the founding Rabbi of Kehillat Yozma, one of the largest and most dynamic synagogues in Israel. It also made her the first woman to work as a congregational rabbi in the history of the State of Israel. She has led congregations around the world, and we are looking forward to having her here.
