Marais Road Shulโs Bat Mitzvah Club has become the premier address for Cape Townโs Jewish community to learn about becoming Bat Mitzvah.
Over a period of 15 sessions, the girls learn much about themselves and their Jewish identity through a blend of creative activities and lessons. Amazingly, attendance is almost 100%!
600 people gathered as 24 young ladies presented the theme โWhatโs in a name?โ Produced by Rebbetzin Sara Wineberg and arranged by Cantor Ivor Joffe, the Cantor led a musical quartet, which was melodiously supported by the Marais Road Shul Choir.
