Gill Saks and Rabbi Emma Gottlieb launch Tikkun Team (T2)

T2 is Temple Israel’s task force for projects of social action and social justice. The team brings together volunteers with an aim to revive the social justice roots of the Progressive movement. Projects range from making holiday gift bags for shul seniors to developing gardening projects. From supporting feeding schemes to upgrading a crèche in Khayelitsha.

Rabbi Emma and Gill bring their passion for activism and building connections between communities to the group, and are excitedly empowering the volunteers to tap into their own superpowers and drive projects from their own places of passion.
