STELLIES WELCOME BRAAI
50 Jewish students gathered for a welcome braai to launch another year of Jewish Student Life at Stellenbosch University. Big thanks to the Sternberg and Myerson Family for always making sure our Jewish students are taken care of. And of course to Stellenbosch shul for always welcoming us and being so supportive of our Jewish Students. A special shout out to Gabi Zetler and Ian Katzeff for being the in-house Mom and Pops of our community.

UCT WELCOME FEST

A special evening with a Tzahal Chayal
We had the unique privilege of hearing from a very special chayal who was in town for a holiday with his family. As an avid kite surfer he chose Cape Town for its world-class wind surfing destination, Blouberg. We got to hear his first-hand account of what’s happening on the ground. He served in Aza protecting the southern communities from constant rocket fire as well as on the northern border fighting Hezbollah, eliminating rocket launchers in order to protect the northern communities. He brought us strength and hope with incredible stories of miracles – how HaShem’s hand is so apparent even in the thick of war. We are so grateful to Rabbi Chezki and Chanchee Malka who hosted us at their brand new Chabad House for Tourists and Hebrew speakers In Cape Town.
