Mensch is undertaking a Mapping & Needs Analysis Survey of Jewish social changemakers in South Africa – and you are invited to participate and help spread the word!
Mensch’s mission, inspired by the Jewish commitment to justice, is to support individuals, organisations and communities to enhance and increase the contribution the Jewish community is making to co-create positive social change in South Africa.
This project is supported by the Li Boiskin Social Justice Fellowship, a partnership of the Mauerberger Foundation Fund and the Kaplan Centre, and aims to:
– Identify and map the Jewish stakeholders that are carrying out or supporting social change in wider South African society.
– Assess the impact that the above social changemakers are having in positively transforming South African society.
– Better understand the extent to which the changemakers’ Jewish identity influences the work that they do.
– Assess the capacities and development needs of these stakeholders.
– Better connect Jewish social changemakers with one other.
– Highlight the work of these stakeholders to the Jewish community and to South African society broadly.
Your participation in the survey is voluntary and may be completed anonymously. Aggregate and anecdotal data will be shared for the purposes of meeting the above-mentioned objectives. Your participation would be greatly appreciated!
Ready to get started?
The survey will take 10-30 minutes depending on how participants answer.
