Oz L’Amo – the strength of our nation

Bnei Akiva Madrichim launching Machaneh Oz L’Amo

By JESSICA CONNÉ

This August, Bnei Akiva Cape Town launched Machaneh Oz L’Amo! Across school campuses, we had ice cream parties, games, merchandise, sweets, posters and even an inflatable surprise! Additionally, Bnei Akiva Cape Town’s madrichim had their very own maddies camp launch led by Rosh Machaneh Joshua Pimstein and Cape Town co-ordinator Eden Lipshitz. Here we learned about the beautiful meaning behind our camp name, Oz L’Amo, which stands for ‘the strength of our nation’.

In September, our amazing Chesed Team organised a biscuit sale to raise money for Bring Them Home, an initiative that provides direct financial, medical and psychological aid to the families of hostages while advocating for the safe return of the hostages. This fundraiser was done in commemoration of the upcoming one-year mark of October 7th. Thank you so much to those who supported and helped us raise money!

Kadimah Bnei Akiva!
