Bringing Israel to Cape Town

For the past 10 weeks, our Cape Town community was blessed to have two young schlichot, Amit Toledo and Hadar Bargev, working with the SAZF CC on a number of projects. The girls made a great impact on our youth and spent beneficial time at our Jewish day schools. It was amazing to see how involved they became in the preparations and tekes for our October 7th commemoration and Rosh Hashana activities at the schools. Their reach went beyond the schools to attending and participating in our SAZF CC events, and they truly became part of our community, spending Shabbat and the Chaggim with numerous families.

In the short time that Amit and Hadar were here, they certainly made an impact on our community, and we wish them well as they return to Israel to take on their next challenge of starting university.
