Having devoured them and their โcontinued onsโ further in, the rest of the menu is well worth enjoying.
Leading you in are items such as Hagaiโ Segalโs analysis of developments in Israelโs political scene-change on page 4; some interesting stuff on human rights delegations on page 7; the report on the Limmud learning weekend, which drew amazing responses, on page 8 and elsewhere; the Bโnai Brith โOne to Oneโ on
page 11 (and 32); UJCโs graduation of young, potential future communal leaders, on page 12; an update on the Cape Town Holocaust Centreโs impressive, ongoing activities, on page 13 โฆ and so it goes.
As you read through the paper you will be amazed at the material within. Nechamaโs item on helping children deal with loss is truly valuable, as is the advice to employers not to underrate the qualities of the more mature.
One should note the AGM reports
of Glendale and Astra plus info on some special general meetings of certain welfare bodies. In fact, the reader should not pass over any of the 44 pages, including the ads, which besides being colourful, offer some valuable โsales and servicesโ.
