WHO is Mensch? Mensch is the leading Jewish social justice network in Southern Africa. WHAT does Mensch do? Inspired by the Jewish commitment to justice, Mensch supports individuals, organisations and communities to increase their impact in creating a fair and equitable South Africa. HOW do they do it? Mensch’s core activities include:
The Mensch Network
We work with over 120 individuals and organisations, offering them skills training, collaboration, funding, and mentoring opportunities so they can make the most impact.
Community Service Days
We organise community service days which offer opportunities to do good, and raise the profile of our network members, partners, and their work.
Philanthropic Advisory Service
We partner with donors who wish to fund transformational change in South Africa by supporting particular projects and organisations. We assist in identifying key organisations, undertaking due diligence and managing the monitoring and reporting of the projects to the donors.
